NORCA has over 20 years of experience delivering music enrichment and education activities.

We offer a fresh approach that builds on the rigour of conventional teaching but with an energetic and up to date style, creating exciting and engaging music provision. We currently work with over 3,000 children every year.

We are a delivery partner of the Norfolk Music Hub.

Curriculum Music Delivery

We offer an innovative and exciting approach for meeting the national curriculum requirement using our Model Music Curriculum.

  • Dedicated music teachers
  • Whole Class Instrumental – instrument-focused delivery, including Digital, Ukelele, Samba drumming, African drumming, Percussion and Singing.
  • CPD for teachers

Write an Opera

Our model is based on the Royal Opera House’s Write an Opera method.

We work with children to write and perform their own opera from scratch.  They get involved in all aspects, developing the story, creating the libretto and music, building the set and making costumes, rehearsing and performing, stage management and front of house.

I've never before seen children grow so much, both artistically and in themselves, in such a short time,"

Peter Hubery, Deputy Head, Wensum Junior School

After school

We can provide a range of activities including

  • Rock School and band development
  • Music technology, music making and songwriting
  • Singing and choir
  • Samba and African drumming
  • Orchestra or Wind Band

Carnival Music

We can offer an exciting package of carnival-related activities built around a music offer.  These are delivered by experienced tutors and partner organisations:

  • One-off workshops in music, costume  and/or dance
  • A coordinated offer that combines multiple activities across a day
  • Work towards a carnival entry
  • Artistic and Musical Direction for delivering carnival events
